SRT will remain the chassis supplier as it has done since Season 1, Williams will return as the battery supplier, while Hankook takes a shock win to oust Michelin as the tyre supplier.
For Season 9 of the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, set to take place in 2022/23, the Generation 3 Formula E car will race for the first time, after an extended 4 seasons of running the Gen2 car with the Gen2 Evo being scrapped due to the effects of the coronavirus pandemic.
Once again, the Gen3 will be build and supplied by Spark Racing Technologies.

Williams Advanced Engineering will retake the tender for the battery system from McLaren Applied Technologies for Season 9. Williams were the battery supplier for the Gen1 and Gen1 Evo from 2014 to 2018, but from Season 5 with the Gen2 car, McLaren took over the battery supply tender.
For Gen3, the power will be increased to 350kW (450bhp), up by 100kW for Gen2. The biggest change however will be the ability for the battery to have a 30 second fast-charging capability, with the plan to have fast-charging pitstops during the races.
Williams will also replace McLaren as the battery supplier for Extreme E, Formula E’s effective ‘off-road cousin’, having also been created by Formula E co-founder Alejandro Agag.
Managing director of Williams Advanced Engineering said, “We’re extremely proud to be appointed the Gen3 battery supplier, particularly as we have been an integral part of the series from the start.
“High performance batteries are one of WAE’s core competencies and I am confident we will add further value in the areas of energy density, thermal efficiency, overall performance and reliability.
“Racing in such a competitive environment is also a challenge for batteries, but one that we embrace.
“We look forward to supporting the series as it moves to its next exciting chapter.”

Michelin has been the official tyre supplier of Formula E since the inaugural season in 2014/15, however it suffered a surprise defeat to South Korean company Hankook in the tyre tender race for Season 9.
Hankook have been the exclusive tyre supplier for DTM since 2011 and the tyre supplier for the 24Hr Series, and in 2019 added W Series to its motorsport involvement.
The tyres will remain ‘all-weather’ as per normal in Formula E, so they can be used in both wet and dry races, and will be manufactured from bio-sourced material and sustainable rubber.
An FIA statement said, "The tender process for selecting suppliers of the chassis, battery and tyres overcame all the expectations and the submissions were compared in relation to their compliance with the technical, environmental, commercial and financial requirements.
"The FIA's World Motor Sport Council recently voted on the bids and Spark Racing Technology will continue producing the common chassis, including the front powertrain kit, Williams Advanced Engineering will be responsible for the battery system whilst the Gen3 will be fitted with all-weather Hankook Tire & Technology tyres."
Hankook Tire & Technology president and COO Sooil Lee added, "All our employees worldwide are very proud that Hankook has been selected by the FIA following tender process and FIA World Motor Sport Council approval as the future tyre and technology partner for the FIA Formula E Championship.
"Our company coincides with Formula E's move towards sustainable growth and we are excited to be a part of this journey as their Gen3 partner.
"It is impressive how the FIA and the FIA Formula E Championships are addressing climate change and air pollution in our urban environments by promoting the adoption of electric vehicles through this all-electric race series and bringing it to the attention of a broad global audience."
